“The artist’s task is to save the soul of mankind; and anything less is a dithering while Rome burns. Because of the artists, who are self-selected, for being able to journey into the Other, if the artists cannot find the way, then the way cannot be found.” -Terence McKenna
Naseem Murakami has been a singer songwriter, composer and a producer since the age of 16. She have extensive experiences performing live shows professionally since 18 years old.
After making a move to New York, she started to get noticed by established major record producers and began collaborating with them and developing her demos. While life can bring havoc and throw curb balls unexpectedly, there was a 9/11 and then major crisis followed shortly after. In 2007, still on a path to recovery from her personal crisis, she made a move to sunny side Los Angeles, California to start her life over.
Naseem continued to work on her artist project as she worked as demo singer, composer and producer on the side while she was also re-building her life back in L.A.
Around 2014, Naseem came across the art of sound healing. She spontaneously connected all dots with her gifts and talents with her missions and life purpose around that time.
Currently Naseem is developing her new music project incorporating energy transmission, healing sound frequencies with positive uplifting messages in the purpose of shifting consciousness of those come in contact with her music. In August 2016, she founded and produced an event called “Healers & Sound Magic” held at peace yoga gallery in downtown Los Angeles. It featured shamanic healing, sound bath, guided meditation, live music performance by local artists and ecstatic dancing, a 4 hours of light transmission, healing and celebration of life. Naseem is currently gearing up to officially launch this movement in 2017 in hopes to bring conscious music and entertainment into mainstream.
